Each year the Antiques Trade Gazette newspaper, in association with Asian Art in London holds a competition to judge the best work of art of two and three dimensions.

How to enter:
Asian Art in London participants select one or more of their objects from their selling exhibitions that they consider to be an outstanding work of art due to a historical, stylistic or cultural context.

The submitted images and descriptions of the objects are then put before the Board of Judges who are selected from a group of leading art world figures, whose specialities and knowledge cover a wide range of art, to include museum curators, collectors, journalists and tv personalities.

From the 30 or more entries Asian Art in London receives each year, ten items are shortlisted by the Judges prior to the Judges visiting each piece at the different galleries during a day-long process.

The runners up are announced in the Antiques Trade Gazette paper just prior to the Asian Art in London event, with the prizes presented during the Asian Art in London Gala party.

The prize consists of the Art Award coveted plaques which are then displayed in the winners' galleries' windows.
